Paul Todd
Paul Todd works to help reduce the impacts of international trade on imperiled species, including elephants, rhinos, giraffe, pangolins, and others. He provides advice and guidance to the team on the effective use of international law and policy to achieve program objectives, and represents the organization in multilateral forums such as the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species and the Convention on Migratory Species. Before coming to NRDC, Todd spent seven years as director of international law and policy at the International Fund for Animal Welfare and four years as a lobbyist for Defenders of Wildlife. He also worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide and communications director for two members of Congress. Todd has degrees in journalism, environmental science, and law from the University of Kansas, and is admitted to the state bar of Colorado. He is based in NRDC's New York office.
