Jaclyn Prange

Jackie Prange’s docket includes complex environmental matters in both state and federal courts, including cases involving climate, water, air quality, environmental justice, and public records. She has served as lead attorney in several high-profile matters: forcing the Port of Los Angeles to green its operations, blocking the Keystone XL pipeline, invalidating the approval of a dangerous pesticide, defeating proposals to transport explosive crude oil by train, and defending a billion-dollar program for renewable energy and energy efficiency in California. Prior to joining NRDC, Prange represented public agencies and environmental organizations at Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger LLP. She also clerked on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Prange holds a bachelor's degree in biology and political science from University of Oregon, an MPH in environmental health sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Public Health, and a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. She is based in NRDC’s San Francisco office.
