Cullen Howe focuses on improving transmission systems to decarbonize the power sector. He advocates on behalf of the Sustainable FERC Project before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and regional transmission organizations. Previously, he was senior attorney and New York office director at Acadia Center, where he focused on clean energy policy in New York. Howe holds a JD and a master's in environmental law from Vermont Law School and a bachelor's degree from DePauw University. He is based in NRDC's New York office.
