Claire Lang-Ree (she/her)
Advocate, Sustainable FERC Project, Climate & Energy
Claire Lang-Ree works to decarbonize the wholesale power system. She advocates in the PJM Interconnection, ISO New England, and before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to accelerate the deployment of clean energy. She focuses on regional transmission build-out and market mechanisms to make sure clean energy is treated fairly. Prior to this role, Claire worked on state climate policy in the west as an NRDC fellow. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in earth system science from Stanford University. She is based in NRDC's New York office.
