Charlotte Steiner

Charlotte Steiner specializes in research and media that advance clean energy, health, and equity around the world. She works with the India and Global Strategies teams to support NRDC's international policy agenda—including efforts to promote clean energy, improve air quality, and mainstream green finance. She also works cross-programmatically to reduce the use of toxic chemicals in consumer goods and manufacturing both at home and abroad. Prior to joining NRDC, she worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Beijing. Steiner holds a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and is fluent in Mandarin and French. She is based in NRDC's Santa Monica office.
