Carrie Schoeneberger (she/her)
Industrial & Hydrogen Analyst, Science Office
Carrie Schoeneberger leads modeling and analysis efforts for industrial decarbonization and clean hydrogen deployment to support NRDC’s advocacy in these areas. Prior to joining NRDC, she researched emerging low carbon technology pathways for the industrial sector and developed energy systems models to assess their environmental and economic impacts. She also previously worked as a chemical engineer in the refining and petrochemicals industries, specializing in hydrogen technologies. Schoeneberger has a BSE in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a PhD in chemical and biological engineering from Northwestern University. She is based in NRDC’s Chicago office.
