Amy McNamara (she/her)
Amy McNamara’s experience lies in advancing community-driven conservation outcomes, private land conservation, and durable solutions for wildlife and public lands management. Throughout her career, she has promoted large-landscape connectivity across the intermountain west, the northeast, and in western Canada. Prior to joining NRDC, McNamara ran her own consulting practice which focused on strategic planning, program evaluation, and organizational development for foundations and nonprofits. She has also worked for The Trust for Public Land, Wilburforce Foundation, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and the Appalachian Mountain Club. McNamara holds degrees in biology from Colgate University and the University of Louisville. She is based in NRDC’s Bozeman, Montana office.
