Throughout the year, NRDC’s Special Events, Major Gifts, and Donor Engagement teams developed several webinars and virtual meetings, inviting prominent guest speakers and elected officials. These webinars, attended by thousands of NRDC supporters and activists, discussed some of the most pressing environmental issues at a national and local levels, some of which include the GLC COP27 special briefing, California carbon capture efforts with E2, and plastics reduction.
